The police of the Donetsk region informed on April 18, 2023, that Russian troops shelled the cities of Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Toretsk, Sloviansk, the urban-type settlement of Velyka Novosilka, and the village of Karlivka in the Donetsk region (east of Ukraine).

Russians used aviation, the S-300 air defense system, the Geran UAV, the Grad multiple-launch rocket system, and artillery.
“22 civil objects were destroyed and damaged – 9 residential buildings, a school, a factory workshop, a coffee shop, an office building, a technical school, an entertainment complex, a business center, an outbuilding, garages, and a car,” reported the police of the Donetsk region.
Russian troops continue to destroy Avdiivka with aviation, rocket launchers and artillery. An apartment building, a factory shop and infrastructure facilities were damaged. There was no information about the victims.
“Russian military directed two S-300 missiles and a UAV towards Sloviansk. They hit 5 apartment buildings, objects of social infrastructure, and a car. According to preliminary information, no one was injured,” added the police of the Donetsk region.
