Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of the Donetsk regional military administration informed on February 25, 2023, that Russian troops shelled settlements of the Donetsk region (east of Ukraine). There is destruction in the region and 5 civilians are injured.

In the Volnovakha direction, Russians launched a rocket strike on Vuhledar, Novoukrainka and Bohoyavlenka – 2 houses were damaged in the latter.
“In the Donetsk direction, Russian troops used Smerch multiple rocket launcher in the Dacha of Kurakhiv territorial community – 4 houses were damaged. Also, Kurakhove, Kurakhivka and Hostre were under Russian fire – in Hostre 1 house was destroyed and 12 damaged. Artillery shelling of Marinka, Krasnohorivka and Yelyzavetivka continued at night, and in the morning residential areas of Avdiivka were shelled 4 times. Progres of Hrodivka territorial community was hit by a rocket attack – 2 houses were damaged,” informed the head of the Donetsk regional military administration.
In the Horlivka direction, Russian military shelled Kostiantynivka, kindergartens and 4 high-rise buildings were damaged, and 1 civilian was injured. In the Toretsk community, 3 houses were damaged, and 15 in Soledar.
“In the Lysychansk direction, Zvanivka community was affected: 10 houses were damaged in the Zvanivka, and more than 30 in Pereizne. Several houses were also damaged in Siversk, and at least 1 in Lyman. In total, Russian troops injured 5 residents of the Donetsk region,” added Pavlo Kyrylenko.
