Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of the Donetsk regional military administration reported that on March 16, Russian troops shelled Kostiantynivka (Donetsk region, east of Ukraine) twice. As a result, 6 people were injured, including a foreign volunteer.

“This afternoon, Russians hit the city twice with cluster munitions from Uragan multiple rocket launchers — 6 civilians were injured, including a foreign volunteer. At least 19 houses, a school and an enterprise were damaged,” explained the head of the Donetsk regional military administration.
According to Pavlo Kyrylenko, despite its relative distance from the front line, Kostiantynivka constantly suffers from Russian shelling.
“On March 16, 2023, Russian soldiers killed 2 residents of the Donetsk region: in Toretsk and the village of Krasnohorivka. Other 8 people in the region were injured,” added the head of the Donetsk regional military administration.
The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine added that as a result of shelling of the railway station, the market and private houses, six civilians, including a Polish citizen, were injured of varying degrees of severity in Kostiantynivka.
“More than 30 homes, gas pipes, cars, and farm buildings were damaged by shrapnel,” clarified the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
