The communication department of the police of the Donetsk region noted that Russian troops shelled the peaceful population of the Donetsk region 26 times on January 18, 2023, and 16 settlements came under Russian fire.

“26 strikes on the civilian population: Russian troops attacked the Donetsk region. The Russian army concentrated fire on 16 settlements. Civilians were injured,” said the communication department of the police of the Donetsk region.
It is noted that the cities of Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Kurakhove, Lyman, Toretsk, Chasiv Yar, the town of Velyka Novosilka, Nelipivka, the villages of Krasnohorivka, Vesele, Ivanivske, Vremivka, Karlivka, Neskuchne, Pleshchiivka, Khromove came under fire.
The police clarified that Russian soldiers struck from aircraft, S-300 air defense systems, Grad and Uragan multiple rocket launchers, artillery, mortars, and tanks. 29 civilian objects were destroyed and damaged – 25 residential buildings, premises of a penal colony, a non-working electrical substation, a gas pipe, and a car.
“As a result of Russian attacks, there are injured civilians in the city of Chasiv Yar, the villages of Khromove and Ivanivske,” added the communication department of the police of the Donetsk region.
