The police of the Donetsk region noted on January 23, 2023, that Russian troops shelled settlements in the Donetsk region (east of Ukraine) 24 times. As a result, 12 civil objects were destroyed and damaged.

“The Russian army launched twelve fire attacks on Avdiivka. Bakhmut, Kramatorsk, and the towns of Velyka Novosilka, Ocheretyne, the villages of Novooleksandrivka, Antonivka, Orlivka, and Stara Mykolaivka were also affected by the Russian shelling. 12 civilian objects were destroyed and damaged – 8 residential buildings, farm buildings, and a car,” informed the police of the Donetsk region.
In addition, Russian military hit Kramatorsk with two rockets. There were no reports of casualties or damage. Russian soldiers shelled Avdiivka from “Grad” multiple rocket launcher and artillery, injuring a civilian resident.
“Russian military shelled Bakhmut with rocket artillery, hitting 3 private houses, some civilians were injured,” added the police of the Donetsk region.
