The Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Lysak reported that on March 14, 2023, Russian military shelled the Nikopol district of the Dnipropetrovsk region (east of Ukraine) and destroyed private houses.

“Today, from morning to evening, the Nikopol region suffered from Russian shelling. Russian troops attacked the area with heavy artillery and anti-aircraft missiles. Pokrovsk, Nikopol and Marhanets communities were hit. There were no casualties,” informed the Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
According to Serhiy Lysak, a farm building and a car caught fire due to Russian shelling in the Pokrovsk community. Firefighters extinguished the fire. A shop and a private enterprise, 10 houses and 5 outbuildings, as well as a minibus were damaged. Two cars were damaged, and one more was destroyed. Gas pipelines and power lines were also damaged.
“Russian shells also caused destruction in Nikopol. A private enterprise and 6 houses were damaged there. In the Marhanets community, the consequences of the shelling are still being determined,” added the Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
