The mayor published a photo of a man who, according to Russians, allegedly died due to shelling.
“Judging by the video from Russian occupiers of the damage to the car with almost straight holes from the bullets, the car was fired at close range. Probably from a machine gun. We are currently investigating whether there is a fact of human death,” Orlov wrote.
Later, the mayor of Energodar reported that the death of the driver of the car fired at in the area of the Zaporizhzhia TPP was confirmed. The man, born in 1978, was pronounced dead at the scene. Another man, born in 1996, was seriously injured and is in intensive care.
In addition, the TPP was shelled with a mortar. As a result of the Russian attack, the central heating station in the city was damaged.
“It will take time to restore the water supply. For now, repair work will continue until the morning.”
