Russia shelled the glass Pedestrian and Bicycle bridge in Ukraine’s capital Kyiv on October 10, 2022. As a result, the bridge not only survived but also remained practically intact.

Telegram news channels note that Ukrainian bridges are not “nothing” like the Russian bridge which connects illegally-annexed Crimea (south of Ukraine) to Russia, and which was crumbled after the missile attack.
The head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration commented on the event in a humorous tone.
“I understand that in order to take revenge for the Kerch Bridge, the Russians tried to destroy the glass bridge near the Friendship of Nations Arch in Kyiv (symbolically, by the way). But they even messed up here,” the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Vitaly Kim said.
