The Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Synyehubov reported that on April 26, 2023, the Russian army massively shelled civilians and civil infrastructure in the settlements of Kharkiv, Kupyansk, and Chuhuiv districts.

“In Vovchansk, Chuhuiv district, shelling damaged a private home, the building of an oil production enterprise, and the building of the fire and rescue department,” noted the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region added that Russian troops shelled a fire station in the Kharkiv region with artillery twice during the day.
“The building was damaged, as well as rescue equipment as a result of shelling,” said the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.
Private residential buildings, farm buildings and shop premises were damaged in the villages of Ustymivka, Vilkhuvatka and Petropavlivka of the Kupyansk district.
“At least 3 private residential buildings were destroyed in the village of Podoly of Kupyansk district,” added Oleh Synyehubov.
