“The Russians lost 500 of their soldiers in Makiivka, Luhansk region. The bodies of the dead are not taken away because Russian authorities have to pay compensation to the relatives of the dead. And yes, there is no body – no problems,” explained the Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration.

Serhii Haidai stressed that Russian troops did not stop trying to recapture the urban-type settlement of Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region because they understand that if they are pushed back further from the settlement-bridgehead, the Ukrainian army will liberate Lysychansk next.

“Under the onslaught of Ukrainian defenders in other cities of the region, Russian troops will leave Siverskodonetsk. Russian soldiers are fleeing because the city is so broken that it cannot be used as a fortress,” the Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration believes.
