The press center of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine reported on April 16, 2023, that a 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old girl were killed as a result of a massive Russian rocket attack on Snihurivka in the Mykolaiv region (south of Ukraine). Proceedings have been initiated.

“According to the investigation, on April 16, 2023, at 02:10 a.m., the Russian army attacked the city of Snihurivka, Mykolaiv region, with rockets. Russian shells hit residential buildings and civil infrastructure objects. A 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old girl died as a result of the shelling,” informed the press center of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, Russian military fired about 10 S-300 missiles at the civilian population of Snihurivka. Prosecutors, and police investigators, criminologists and explosives technicians of the National Police in the region are working at the scene.
“Under the procedural leadership of the Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation was started in criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder,” added the press center of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine.
