Russians killed 29 Ukrainian civilian doctors, and injured more than 100

The Ministry of Health of Ukraine noted on October 30, 2022, that Russian troops damaged more than 1,000 medical facilities in Ukraine and killed 29 civilian doctors during the full-scale war.

“Since the beginning of the large-scale war, the Russian army has purposefully tried to destroy the medical system in Ukraine. Russian soldiers damaged more than 1,000 medical facilities in Ukraine during 8 months of full-scale war. 29 civilian doctors were killed and over 100 were injured,” noted the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

During this time, Ukraine managed to restore 94 medical facilities and 203 partially.

“A significant number of doctors are mobilized to the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Medical evacuation has been arranged with our partners from Europe. Ukrainians continue to receive services and access to medicines in full, and hospitals receive new equipment every week to replace damaged ones,” the Ministry of Health said.
