“Today [on December 11- ed.], Russians targeted the rescuers who were delivering humanitarian aid to the people who remain in the war-torn city of Bakhmut. Fortunately, no one was injured, but as a result of the artillery shelling, the operational vehicle of the 47th State Fire and Rescue Department was damaged,” said the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
The rescuers used this car to deliver humanitarian aid and water, in particular, to the house which Russians attacked on the night of December 11.
“Residents of the high-rise building helped the rescuers put out the fire that was caused by the shelling with their water, so it was important for the employees of the State Emergency Service to return precious supplies to the people,” added the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
In addition, 9 houses were damaged and two people were injured in the Donetsk region due to Russian attacks on December 11, 2022.
