The Kherson Regional Military Administration noted on February 28, 2023, that during the past day, Russian soldiers shelled the Kherson region 119 times. As a result of Russian shelling, 3 civilians were injured. In addition, Russians shelled Kherson on February 28, 2023, according to preliminary data, 1 civilian was killed.

“Russian troops hit the Kherson region 119 times. Peaceful settlements were attacked with various types of weapons – multiple rocket launchers, mortars, artillery, tanks, UAVs and infantry fighting vehicles. Kherson was shelled 18 times by the Russian army – it hit the residential quarters of the city. Russian shells hit the school, private and apartment buildings,” explained the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

3 civilians were injured by Russian shelling in the Kherson region on February 27, 2023. The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine also informed that 1 civilian was killed in Kherson on February 28, 2023.

“Russians shelled Kherson again. As a result of the shelling, a private residential building was destroyed. There are casualties. It is also known about one killed person,” said Andriy Yermak.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian troops are restricting the movement of the civilian population in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region. In particular, they allow only citizens with local registration and a special pass to enter the settlement of Promin.
