The Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Lysak noted that the troops of the Russian army shelled the Nikopol district of the Dnipropetrovsk region (east of Ukraine) on April 17, 2023. There is destruction and one person was injured.

“Russians attacked civilians again. During the day, the Russian army shelled the Nikopol region. A 42-year-old man was injured. He received minor shrapnel injuries and was hospitalized in traumatology,” informed the Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
As a result of the shelling of Nikopol, a fire broke out in a two-story non-residential building. An educational institution, a medical institution, and a private enterprise were damaged.
Also, 2 high-rise buildings, 9 residential buildings, 2 non-residential buildings, 3 commercial buildings, two cars and a truck, cellular towers and a power line were damaged.
“In the evening, the Chervonohryhorivka community was also shelled by Russian military. Rescuers are working on the spot,” added Serhiy Lysak.
