The Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Sinegubov noted that Russian military shelled the front-line settlements of the Kupyansk, Chuhuiv, and Kharkiv districts on January 16, 2023. As a result, 19 houses, a hospital, and a civil industry facility were damaged in the Kharkiv region.

“In Kupyansk, 2 five-story apartment buildings and 7 private households were damaged by Russian shelling. A 41-year-old man and a 65-year-old woman were injured. In Vovchansk, Chuhuiv district, shelling damaged the building of the Central District Hospital, and damaged 7 private houses,” informed the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
According to Oleg Sinegubov, 3 private houses and a civil industry facility were damaged in the urban-type settlement Bilyi Kolodiaz of the Vovchansk community.
Russian troops regularly shell the Kharkiv region from the territory of the Russian Federation.
For example, on January 14, 2023, Russian military also shelled the Kharkiv region. The troops of the Russian Federation damaged the educational institution, as well as infrastructural and industrial facilities.
