The information about the shelling of the city by the Russians was confirmed by the head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Sinegubov. He called on Kharkiv residents to protect themselves and stay in shelters.
“Russian troops hit Kharkiv. Information about the victims is being clarified. Do not ignore the alarm signals!”
Later, Synegubov added that there was a hit on the road surface in the Kyiv district of Kharkiv.
Unfortunately, one person died and four are injured as of 1:50 p.m.
“The massive shelling of Kharkiv. The city center was hit, missile “arrivals” were recorded in the Osnovyansk and Kyiv districts. As a result of the shelling, critical infrastructure facilities were disabled, as a result of which Kharkiv lost electricity and stopped water supply. Energy workers, rescue workers and utility workers are working to eliminate the consequences of the shelling,” wrote the mayor of the city, Igor Terekhov.
