Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration said that Russian military shelled the Kherson region 33 times and Kherson was shelled 5 times on April 28, 2023. As a result, one civilian was killed and six were injured.

“Over the last day, the Russian army carried out 33 shellings, firing 177 shells from heavy artillery, tanks, Grad rocket launchers and UAVs. Russian troops shelled the city of Kherson 5 times. They targeted the residential quarters of the settlements of the region and the territory of the hospital in Bilozerka,” informed the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
The press center of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine added that approximately 20 private houses, cars, and power lines were damaged by Russian shelling in Bilozerka. Also, windows of the local hospital were broken by the blast wave.
“As a result of shelling the territory of a private home, a woman died under the rubble. Three more residents received injuries of varying degrees of severity,” said the press center of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine.
