The police of the Donetsk region reported that the Russian army shelled the cities of Avdiivka, Kramatorsk, Bakhmut, Zalizne, Myrnograd, Chasiv Yar, urban-type settlements Velyka Novosilka, Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, the villages of Semenivka, Vasyutynske and Serhiivka from aircraft, S-300 air defense systems, Smerch and Uragan rocket launchers, artillery and tanks on April 5, 2023.

“30 civilian objects were destroyed and damaged – 18 residential buildings, a kindergarten, a cinema, businesses, farm buildings, a power line, a tractor, cars. Russian troops directed the S-300 missile at Serhiivka, hitting an enterprise and a car, killing a person,” said the police of the Donetsk region.
Russian soldiers also fired at Kramatorsk using Smerch multiple rocket launchers. There were no reports of casualties or damage.
The Russian army continues to destroy Bakhmut with artillery. 3 apartment buildings and a social infrastructure object were damaged. There are killed and injured residents.
The Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko added that Russian troops killed five residents of the Donetsk region, and nine more people were injured on April 5, 2023.
