ATO Press Center informs that during the day, June 15, 2015, pro-Russian illegal armed groups used almost all available types of firepower, including heavy weapons, and continued to provoke to act ATO (Anti-Terrorist Operation) forces.
Russian terrorists shelled positions of Ukrainian troops 33 times, 27 times in the area of Donetsk.
“Invaders fired with 120mm mortars at villages Berezove, Granitne (Donetsk region), Starohnativtsi, and twice – at Marinka. At villages Granite, Bogdanivka and Novohryhorivka terrorists fired from howitzers caliber 122 mm. With the same artillery systems were shelled by terrorists villages Toshkivtsi and Novotoshkivske in the Luhansk region, and Stepne in Artemivsk direction,”reports ATO Press Center.
More tense was the situation in Opytne and Pisky. There mercenaries from Kremlin systematically used against our soldiers small arms, grenade launchers, weapons and armour vehicles, and prohibited by Minsk Agreements artillery.
In addition, with 122-mm artillery systems militants fired facilities of urban infrastructure in Hranitne and Prohorovtsi.
In Shyrokyne Russia-backed militants only twice used small arms.
Ukrainian soldiers were not exposed to provocations, effectively suppressed enemy firing points, using only allowed weapons.
