Yaroslav Yanushevych, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration said on December 21, 2022, that Russian military shelled the Kherson region (south of Ukraine) and killed 1 civilian, as well as injured 6 on December 20, 2022.

“Russian troops shelled the territory of the Kherson region 71 times. They fired from artillery, multiple rocket launchers, mortars and tanks. Russian soldiers once again shelled the residential quarters of Kherson. They hit the port, private and multi-apartment buildings,” explained the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
Yaroslav Yanushevych added that as a result of Russian shelling, one person was killed and six others were injured.
The day before, as a result of repeated shelling by Russia on the settlements of the Kherson region, a local resident was killed in one of the urban-type villages. Two civilians in Kherson were hospitalized with injuries received as a result of the shelling of residential areas.
