Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration informed on February 27, 2023, that Russian soldiers did not stop shelling the civilian population of the Kherson region. The Russian army shelled the Kherson region almost a hundred times on February 26, 2023.

“On February 26, 2023, the Russian army shelled the Kherson region 97 times. 27 settlements of the region were affected. Russian troops shelled the city of Kherson 21 times. Shells hit residential quarters, private and apartment buildings,” explained the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
According to Oleksandr Prokudin, there are victims among the civilian population, 1 civilian was killed, and 2 – were injured.
“39 civilians were evacuated from the liberated territory of the Kherson region,” added the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
In addition, according to the First Deputy Chairman of the Kherson Regional Council, Yuriy Sobolevskyi, the sounds of explosions were heard in Kherson in the morning on February 27, 2023.
