The police of the Donetsk region informed on March 22, 2023, that the cities of Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Krasnohorivka, Hirnyk, Chasiv Yar, the villages Severne, Tonenke, Netaylove, Predtechyne, Stepove, Khromove, Zoryanye, and Stinky were under Russian fire. Russian troops used aircraft, S-300 air defense systems, Grad and Smerch multiple rocket launchers, artillery, and tanks.

“The Russian army attacked Avdiivka 19 times. The city withstood 7 airstrikes from Grad rocket launchers and artillery. There was no information about casualties and damage,” said the police of the Donetsk region.
Russians also directed S-300 missiles, Grad and Smerch multiple rocket launchers towards Chasiv Yar. 4 high-rise buildings, 12 private houses, and infrastructure facilities were destroyed. There are dead and wounded civilians.
Russian troops also covered Krasnohorivka with jet artillery. They killed and injured people.
“22 civilian objects were destroyed and damaged – 18 residential buildings, a school, a factory, and garages,” added the police of the Donetsk region.
