Vyacheslav Chaus, the Head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration noted on April 10, 2023, that Russian military intensified the use of air forces to attack targets in the Chernihiv region (north of Ukraine), including Kh-59 missiles, air-to-surface missiles, unguided aerial missiles and FAB-500 air-dropped bombs.

“During the last week, the Russian army fired 24 times from the territory of Bryansk region at 9 settlements on the border of the Chernihiv region. 244 explosions were recorded,” reported the Head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration.
Unfortunately, one civilian was injured.
“As a result of the shelling, 10 villages of the Novhorod-Siverskyi district were left without electricity, and some without gas. Two households were destroyed, 19 buildings of private households were damaged, as well as civilian infrastructure: a bridge (air strike), urgent care centerfire station, school, farm,” added the Head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration.
