The Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Sinegubov informed that Russian troops shelled the premises of a boarding school from the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system in the Kupyansk district of the Kharkiv region on January 19, 2023. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

“Last day [on January 19, 2023 – ed.], the Russian army continued to attack the border settlements of the Kharkiv region. Russian military shelled Tymofiivka, Veterynarne, Strilecha, Starytsia, Vovchansk, Vilcha, Dvorichna, Kupyansk, etc. with mortars, artillery and MLRS,” reported the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
About 20 Russian artillery hits were recorded in Timofiivka, Bohodukhiv district. Four private houses were damaged.
In Vovchansk, Chuhuiv district, two nine-story buildings were shelled: the windows and roof were blown out. In addition, 10 private houses, garages, and utility buildings were damaged due to Russian shelling.
“In the Kupyansk district, Kupyansk and Dvorichna suffered from Russian shelling. Five private houses, farm buildings, and cars were damaged. Also, Russian troops fired at the premises of the boarding school using S-300 missiles,” noted Oleg Sinegubov.
The Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration added that there were no civilian casualties.
