The press service of DTEK Energo reported on April 2, 2023, that the equipment of one of the thermal power plants of DTEK was damaged due to shelling by Russian troops, as a result of which the thermal power plant stopped producing electricity.

“Today, as a result of intense shelling, one of the thermal power plants of DTEK Energo was once again damaged. According to preliminary information, there were no victims. As a result of the attack, the plant’s equipment was damaged, as a result of which the TPP stopped producing electricity,” informed the press service of DTEK Energo.
Since the beginning of the energy terror, DTEK TPPs have been attacked 30 times by Russian soldiers. As a result, 3 DTEK power workers were killed, and 28 were injured.
Earlier, the Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko said that the power supply of the Pokrovsk district has been disrupted due to the shelling of the Kurakhove Power Station in the Donetsk region.
