The Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Sinegubov informed that two women were injured as a result of Russian shelling of Kupyansk, in the Kharkiv region in the morning of February 23, 2023.

“The Russian army continues to shell the civilians of Kupyansk. As a result of the morning shelling, 2 civilian women were injured. Currently, doctors are providing the victims with the necessary assistance,” explained the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
In addition, Oleg Sinegubov said that Russian soldiers shelled at least 18 settlements in the Kupyansk, Chuhuiv, Kharkiv and Izium districts of the Kharkiv region.
“A 40-year-old civilian man was injured in Podoly village, Kupyansk district, as a result of Russian shelling. He was hospitalized in moderate condition. In Vovchansk, 6 residential buildings and 2 educational institutions were damaged as a result of massive shelling. A farm building was damaged in Nesterne village of Vovchansk community,” reported Oleg Sinegubov.
According to the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, the shelling of Cherneshchena village in Izium district destroyed a private residential building and damaged power poles.
