Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration said that the Russian army carried out 87 shellings, firing 498 shells from heavy artillery and Grad multiple rocket launchers into the Kherson region on March 1, 2023. 11 civilians were injured.

“The Russian army shelled the city of Kherson twice. 11 shells hit residential quarters, private and apartment buildings. There are victims among the civilian population – 11 people (including 1 child) were injured,” informed the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
Russian troops also used artillery, tanks and UAVs to shell the peaceful settlements of the Kherson region.
“Last day, 11 people were injured in the Kherson region due to Russian shelling, including a one-year-old baby. The child’s face and ears were injured by shards of glass. Now the boy is in the hospital, his life is not in danger,” reported the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
According to Oleksandr Prokudin, 75 people were evacuated from the liberated territory of the Kherson region on March 1, 2023.
