“Over the last day, the Russian army carried out 83 shellings, firing 412 shells from heavy artillery, UAVs and aviation. Russian troops shelled the city of Kherson 3 times. They targeted the residential quarters of the populated areas of the region; the territory and the building of the educational institution of the Bilozerk settlement community were damaged,” explained the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
According to Oleksandr Prokudin, 71 people were evacuated from the liberated territory of the Kherson region on April 23, 2023.
The police of the Kherson region added that as a result of the air attack on the village of Kizomys, dozens of residential buildings and a police service car were damaged, two local residents were injured, they suffered head injuries and fractures.
“An 80-year-old woman was injured and a police car was damaged during the artillery fire in the city of Beryslav. The cemetery was damaged due to an attack by Russian troops on the village of Havrylivka,” said the police of the Kherson region.
