Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration noted that the troops of the Russian Federation shelled the Kherson region 78 times, firing a total of 360 shells on April 9, 2023.

“Over the last day, Russian military carried out 78 shellings, firing 360 shells. 17 shells hit the city of Kherson. The Russian army aimed at the residential quarters of the settlements of the region; the territory and buildings of the garage cooperative were damaged,” explained the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
According to Oleksandr Prokudin, there were no casualties among the civilian population in the Kherson region on April 9, 2023.
Later, the Kherson Regional Military Administration added that Russian soldiers shelled the hospital in the Kherson region on April 10, 2023.
“This morning Russian troops shelled the hospital in the Suvorov district of Kherson. Several windows were damaged due to the explosions. Fortunately, there were no serious damages or injuries,” informed the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
In addition, as a result of Russian shelling in the center of the city, an architectural monument of local importance – the building of the art museum, as well as the administrative building of the district council was damaged.
