Oleksandr Starukh, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration noted that Russians launched a rocket attack on Zaporizhzhia and its suburbs at night on January 16, 2023, there are reports of three injured civilians and destruction.

“The Russian army launched a rocket attack on the regional center and suburbs. There is the destruction of civil, residential and industrial infrastructure. Information was received about several wounded. All relevant services are working on the spot,” said the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
The Secretary of Zaporizhzhia City Council said that rescuers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, medics and utility workers are working at the site of the shelling.
“All victims are provided with emergency medical care. Three people were transported to hospitals. Among them are two children of nine and fifteen years old,” added Anatolii Kurtiev.
UPD: 5 civilians were injured as a result of the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia.
