Oleksandr Vilkul, the head of the Kryvyi Rih Military Administration said that Russia launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine in the morning on December 16, 2022. An air alert has been declared in all regions. In particular, Russia attacked with missiles the residential building in Kryvyi Rih (the largest city in central Ukraine) killing 2 civilians.

“Kryvyi Rih. There is damage caused by Russian rockets. Do not post anything on social networks,” wrote the head of the Kryvyi Rih Military Administration.
Later, the Deputy Head of the President’s Office of Ukraine, Kyrylo Tymoshenko reported on his Telegram channel about the attack on the residential building in Kryvyi Rih.
“There is destruction. There may be people under the rubble. Emergency services are working on the spot,” noted the Deputy Head of the President’s Office of Ukraine.
The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Valentyn Reznichenko also commented on the shelling.
“The massive Russian attack on the region. A Russian rocket hit a residential building in Kryvyi Rih. An entrance was ruined. Two people were killed. At least five people were injured, including two children. Everyone is in the hospital,” explained Valentyn Reznichenko.
