Russia shelled educational institution and electrical substation in the Kherson region: photos

The communications department of the National Police of Ukraine reported on March 27, 2023, that Russian airstrike damaged an electrical substation and an educational institution in Beryslav in the Kherson region (south of Ukraine).

According to the National Police, the Russian army shelled populated areas of the Beryslav and Kherson districts around the clock with anti-aircraft guns, artillery, mortars, tanks, UAVs and aircraft.

“Russian troops carried out an airstrike on an educational institution in the village of Kozatske, the building was completely destroyed. In the city of Beryslav, an electric substation was damaged by an airstrike, as a result of which the city and surrounding villages were left without electricity for a certain time,” informed the communications department of the National Police of Ukraine.

In Kherson, the Russian army attacked peaceful residential areas, shells were aimed at high-rise buildings and private houses, as well as the point of delivery of humanitarian aid, where four citizens were injured.

Over the past two days, the police opened 21 criminal proceedings on the facts of war crimes committed by the Russian army in the Kherson region.

“As a result of detonation of explosive devices left by Russian military, 5 people were injured,” added the communications department of the National Police of Ukraine.
