The press center of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine reported that on March 13, 2023, Russian troops shelled the cities of Avdiivka and Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region (east of Ukraine) with barrel artillery and Uragan multiple-launch rocket systems.

“As a result of the attacks, a 46-year-old woman was killed in Avdiivka, and five more residents of Kostiantynivka – four men and one woman received shrapnel injuries of varying degrees of severity. Currently, they are provided with qualified medical assistance,” informed the press center of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine.
Private homes, high-rise buildings, farm buildings, and cars were destroyed. Prosecutors, law enforcement officers and rescuers are working on the ground.
According to the press center of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine, a pre-trial investigation has been started in criminal proceedings on the facts of violation of the laws and customs of war.
