“1,422 schools with 326,000 students will be opened on September 1, 2022, in the occupied territories of Ukraine.”

The Ukrainian authorities, in turn, advise students from the occupied territories to study at home on the “All-Ukrainian School Online” platform.

The aggressor country announced the opening of 591 schools in Donetsk, 487 in Luhansk, 164 in Zaporizhzhia, 108 in Kherson and 72 in Kharkiv regions.

On August 30, the Ukrainian center of national resistance reported that Russian occupation authorities promised to pay Ukrainian families 2,000 rubles ($33) per child attending a Russian school in Nova Kakhovka, and Kherson Oblast (south of Ukraine)

Parents are threatened with fines and deprivation of parental rights for refusing to send their children to the schools of occupiers.

Since local teachers mostly refuse to cooperate with Russian invaders, teachers are brought from occupied Crimea and Russia.
