Russia has carried out about 190 missile and drone attacks on Ukraine since October 7

Russia carried out about 190 massive strikes with missiles and kamikaze drones on 16 regions of Ukraine and Kyiv during the period from October 7 to October 18, 2022. More than 70 Ukrainian civilians died during this period.

“According to operational information, Russia carried out about 190 massive strikes with missiles, kamikaze drones and artillery on 16 regions of Ukraine and the city of Kyiv from October 7 to October 18, 2022. The greatest number of strikes on October 10, 11, 17, and 18 were inflicted on the Kyiv region and Kyiv,” the Press Officer of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine said.

These strikes were mostly directed at critical infrastructure facilities of Ukraine, particularly energy facilities, and civilian facilities, including both private and high-rise residential buildings.

According to Oleksandr Khorunzhyi, more than 70 Ukrainian civilians were killed, more than 240 people were injured, and more than 380 objects were damaged as a result of the massive shelling of the Russian Federation during this period.

“And these are not only objects of critical infrastructure – many objects were civilian. These are more than 140 private residential buildings, and apartment buildings and, of course, other buildings that came under fire from the Russian Federation,” said the spokesman of the State Emergency Service.

Oleksandr Khorunzhyi also informed that as a result of Russian shelling of energy facilities, power was cut off in about 4,000 settlements in 11 regions of Ukraine from October 7 to October 18.
