The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine noted that as of the morning of December 3, 2022, more than 1,295 children were injured in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation. According to official data from juvenile prosecutors, 443 children were killed and more than 852 injured.

It is emphasized that these figures are not final, as work is ongoing to establish them in places of active hostilities, as well as in temporarily occupied and liberated territories of Ukraine.
“The largest number of children were affected in the Donetsk region – 424, 267 in the Kharkiv region, 117 in the Kyiv region, 77 in the Mykolaiv region, 76 in the Zaporizhzhia region, 70 in the Kherson region, 68 in the Chernihiv region, 65 in the Luhansk region, and 33 in the Dnipropetrovsk region,” noted the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
In particular, it became known that a 10-year-old boy died in April as a result of Russian shelling in Popasna, the Luhansk region. And in May, because of the shelling of the village, a 17-year-old girl died in Kozacha Lopan, the Kharkiv region.
