Ukraine is sending an official note to Russia on the violation by the Kremlin of the International Convention for the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said this at a government meeting on Wednesday, a Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“Ukraine believes that Russia is directly involved in the financing of terrorism in Ukraine, in the sending of weapons, trained agents and support of bandits and terrorists who commit crimes against humanity on Ukrainian territory,” he said.
Yatseniuk said that Ukraine wanted Russia to immediately give an official response to the note of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
“According to the requirements of the Convention, the final decision will be taken by the UN International Court [of Justice],” he said.
