The Radical Party of Liashko faction demands that NBU governor Valeria Hontareva reported to the Verkhovna Rada today on how she is going to stabilize the currency rate.
Faction leader Oleh Liashko said in his speech in the Verkhovna Rada, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“We demanded yesterday that Hontareva was in Rada today, however, she is not here, and we consider that this is ignoring of the problems of the majority of Ukrainian citizens… Therefore, we insist that National Bank governor Hontareva comes to the Verkhovna Rada today and reports to the Ukrainian society on what the NBU will do to keep the hryvnia rate,” Liashko said.
