Russian President Vladimir Putin considers ”inappropriate” to hold early presidential elections in 2017 but at the same time admits they are possible.
A journalist of The Wall Street Journal asked whether it was possible to hold early presidential elections next year.
”It is possible, but inappropriate,” Putin answered at a press conference in Moscow. ”In what country?” he added.
Earlier, former speaker of the Russian State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin advised opposition leader Alexei Navalny not to ”dream” of presidential nomination.
