Russian President Vladimir Putin has admitted that he used the Russian armed forces for the illegal referendum in Crimea.
He said this on Thursday in his speech in Yalta at a meeting with members of the Duma factions and members of the Russian government, Russia’s independent television channel Dozhd reported.
“Yes, we used our armed forces, but in order to hold a referendum,” he said.
