Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov says the possible handover of Ukrainian citizens convicted in Russia is currently on the agenda, though he gave no particular names, according to Russian news agency TASS.
”This issue has been repeatedly discussed during the contacts of working groups, it was mentioned by the Ukrainian side at the Berlin meeting of the Normandy Four group,” Peskov said on Monday, TASS reported.
”Certain names are included in the agenda,” he said, adding: ”Not all of them may be classed in any category, in any case all of them are people who are convicted and serve their sentence upon a decision of a Russian court.”
”No doubt, there are judicial procedures in case if any decisions are taken,” Peskov said.
