Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko had a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin last night, the press service of the Ukrainian president has reported.
“Petro Poroshenko and Vladimir Putin reaffirmed the need for strict observance of the ceasefire and the withdrawal of troops,” reads the report.
The two sides also agreed on the agenda and format of their meeting as part of the ASEM summit, which will be held in Milan on October 16-17.
