Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has ordered the creation of a National Reform Council, which will plan and coordinate positions on the implementation of a single state reform policy.
A decree to that effect has been posted on the website of the head of state.
“To ensure the implementation of a single, agreed state reform policy in Ukraine, establish an effective mechanism for cooperation between state authorities and civil society institutions in the implementation of the reform, I decree to create a National Reform Council as a special advisory body under the president of Ukraine,” reads the document.
Poroshenko also proposed creating an Advisory Reform Council, the main task of which will be submitting proposals based on best international practices, as well as an Executive Committee, which will deal with monitoring the implementation of the reforms.
