Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko says about the decisive weeks or even days in the introduction of the EU visa regime for Ukraine.
Speaking at a joint press conference with Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev in Sofia, Poroshenko thanked him for Bulgaria`s strong support in the introduction of the EU visa-free regime for Ukraine.
”Now, in the decisive weeks or even days, when the EU has to make the decision, we are waiting for coordinated steps of both the Bulgarian deputies in the European Parliament and Bulgaria`s position in the EU Council that will allow to take an important decision on granting Ukraine a visa-free regime,” Poroshenko said.
”We are convinced that Ukraine may get it today, now that it has fulfilled all obligations [of the visa liberalization action plan],” he said.
