In the phone conversation between President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, Federal Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel and President of France Francois Hollande were discussed such urgent topics as the ways to settle the situation in Donbas and the failure of the Trilateral Contact Group meeting in Minsk.
The parties stated that there must be return to all items of the Minsk agreements and the immidiate ceasefire. As the number of victims among the civilians grows the peaceful settlement in the Donbas must be as soon as possible. Actually Petro Poroshenko, Angela Merkel and Francois Hollande have expressed disappointment about the situation that happened in Minsk.
As the Press office of President says:
“President Poroshenko has underlined the necessity of Russia’s official response to the disruption of the Trilateral Contact Group’s work, for it is a signatory of the Minsk agreements.”
The leaders of Ukraine, Germany and France agreed closly coordinate their actions to reach the peace in the East of Ukraine.
