Ukrainian MPs can not command a military unit.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak said this at a briefing in Kiev on Saturday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“According to the law, we have no right to have the person, who concurrently works as battalion commander and the MP. Here, the opinion is unequivocal. There should not be such situations,” he said.
