“We appreciate the support of Poland, which together with Lithuania became a co-founder of the Joint Investigative Team (JIT) to ensure a coordinated investigation of the crime of aggression and other war crimes on the territory of Ukraine committed during the armed aggression of the Russian Federation. We are working together on the path of restoring justice.”

Andriy Kostin thanked the Polish experts for their work, which for ten days together with their Ukrainian counterparts, investigated war crimes committed by the Russian Federation’s army in Borodyanka and Kyiv. Polish experts helped to track the destruction of cities using 3D scanners.

The expert mission that Poland is currently preparing will help Ukrainian prosecutors and investigators in the newly liberated territories of Ukraine.
