Poland currently sees no signs in Russia’s actions that would help resume normal cooperation between NATO and Russia.
Polish Foreign Minister Grzegorz Schetyna said this at a conference “The Next 15 Years: The Future Polish Priorities in NATO,” Ukrinform’s correspondent in Poland reports.
“NATO has suspended active cooperation with Russia, and there are currently no signs that would allow returning to Russia’s cooperation with NATO. The alliance cannot allow unlawful actions,” Schetyna said.
He said that Russia had organized armed annexation of part of Ukraine and was actively involved in the conflict in the eastern regions of the state, contrary to all international agreements.
He said with regret that the Minsk agreements, compliance with which by all parties could have helped stabilize the situation in Donbas, had not currently brought a settlement of the conflict.
