Poland is ready to act as a guarantor of Ukraine’s security. All that is needed is for Kyiv to formally address such a proposal, and the relevant terms of the peace treaty have been established.

According to Duda, this issue is quite fundamental and desirable for Poland as a neighbouring country with Ukraine.
Duda claimed that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy asked whether Poland should be one of the guarantors of Ukraine’s security. He also noted that they are currently supporting Ukraine with all their resources, and as a result, they feel that as neighbours they have a responsibility to do so.
The Polish leader further added that Warsaw will partake in it if Ukraine asks them to become security guarantors and peace guarantors after the war.
“Poland refers to Ukrainians as neighbours or guests because more than two million Ukrainians have already live in Poland.”
The Polish President claims that he is one of the leaders with whom the President of Ukraine often communicates.
